Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional to support general ledger accounting, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Financial Reporting

  • Maintain and reconcile all general ledger accounts; prepare and post journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the general ledger.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for all company accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure cash accuracy.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations (GL reconciliations); identify variances and partner cross-functionally to resolve outstanding items within close deadlines.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, providing variance analysis and commentary on results.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and internal control standards.

Month-End & Year-End Close

  • Participate in monthly and annual close process, including preparation of accruals, prepaid amortization, and other recurring entries to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate close calendar activities with the finance department and cross-functional teams; proactively flag risks to close timeline and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain fixed asset roll-forward, recording additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules in accordance with company policy;
