Accountabilities

• Serve as a technical expert for Snowflake and Azure, leading implementation efforts.
• Develop and maintain API-driven integrations using MuleSoft.
• Drive migration from on-prem SQL Server environments to Snowflake.
• Implement engineering best practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Troubleshoot complex data and platform issues, providing long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with various teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Mentor and support data engineers through guidance and code reviews.
• Optimize data models and compute usage for cost-efficient operations.
• Partner with IT and security teams to ensure compliance and data quality.
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and frameworks for the data platform.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• 8 years of strong expertise in Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with MuleSoft for API-driven integrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and distributed systems.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical initiatives.
• Demonstrated strength in problem-solving and navigating ambiguity.
• Experience leading technical discussions and mentoring engineers.
