About the Role
We are seeking a Qualitative Evaluator/Data Analyst to contribute to and support a cross-site evaluation. The role will provide technical and project leadership to design qualitative data collection activities (e.g., interviews, focus groups), conduct data collection, perform rigorous qualitative and mixed-methods analysis, prepare codebooks, and synthesize and summarize findings for dissemination products. This role is critical to ensuring that the cross-site evaluation incorporates stakeholder voices and delivers robust, actionable results.
This is a fully remote position based in the United States. An estimated 5-10% travel will be required. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement qualitative and mixed-methods evaluation activities, including development of interview guides, focus group protocols, and survey instruments aligned with program evaluation objectives.
- Conduct primary data collection across multiple sites, including facilitating key informant interviews and focus groups with stakeholders (e.g., health departments, harm reduction staff, navigators, and priority populations).
- Translate, pilot test, and refine data collection instruments (English/Spanish), incorporating cognitive testing and stakeholder feedback to ensure cultural and contextual relevance.
