Position Description


CGI is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Life & Annuity insurance implementation experience to lead technology delivery initiatives.


This position is preferred in Indianapolis, IN or Jersey City, NJ


Your future duties and responsibilities

• Manage end to end project delivery from planning through implementation.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate across business, technology, vendor and offshore teams.
• Lead project governance, status reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Work with business and technology teams throughout requirements, development, testing, deployment and production readiness.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and drive issues to resolution.
• Support Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models as required.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 8+ years of IT/project delivery experience with strong Project Management experience.
• Prior implementation experience within the Life & Annuity insurance domain.
• Experience managing complex technology/system implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Experience managing cross functional and onsite/offshore teams.
• Strong planning, communication, risk and dependency management skills.
• Working knowledge of Agile/SAFe and traditional delivery methodologies.

Preferred

• Experience with LifePRO is a BIG plus.
• Exposure to Life & Annuity policy administration, modernization, migration or integration programs.
• Experience with insurance policy administration platforms.
• Professional credentials (PMP,Insurance/LOMA,FLMI, ALMI, ICA) are strongly preferred.

Education: Bachelors in computer science or closely related field
