Ragone Foundations, Inc. – Capital Region, NY
Ragone Foundations is looking to add another person to our project management team. We are open to hiring anywhere from an Assistant Project Manager through a Senior Project Manager, depending on experience.
We are a commercial concrete contractor working throughout the Capital Region and surrounding areas. Our work includes foundations, slabs, structural concrete and other commercial concrete scopes.
We aren't necessarily looking for someone who checks every box on a job description. We're looking for someone who understands construction, is organized, communicates well and takes ownership of their work. Concrete experience is a plus, but we will consider someone with solid commercial construction experience who wants to learn the concrete side of the business.
An experienced PM or Senior PM should be comfortable taking a project from turnover through closeout and managing the financial and administrative side of the job. Someone coming in as an Assistant PM will work alongside our team and learn our process with the expectation of growing into managing their own projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Review project scope, contracts, drawings and specifications
- Handle RFIs, submittals and project documentation
- Coordinate with general contractors, suppliers and our field team
- Track project schedules and upcoming work
- Purchase and coordinate materials
- Identify, price and track change orders
- Track job costs and update project forecasts
- Prepare monthly billing
- Attend project meetings and visit jobsites as needed
- Help resolve issues before they affect the field
- Manage projects through final billing and closeout
