About this role

Air Stream AC is seeking an Experienced Project Manager for our Commercial Installation jobs in NYC and LI.

In this vital role, you will oversee our commercial HVAC installation projects from the planning stage right through to completion, while ensuring that our team stays on track to bring projects in on time and within budget.

Essential Job Functions:

• Reads and understands mechanical drawings, purchase orders, contracts, etc.
• Have knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and pricing
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
• Brings projects to successful completion within budget
• Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Has excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fosters and maintains a positive team environment
• Follows all procedures and protocols
• Builds positive relationships with peers, customers, and management

Key Competencies:

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, AUTO CAD a plus
• Detail oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
• Top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in self and others

• Highly motivated, flexible, and positive, professional demeanor

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum five years’ HVAC direct work experience in a project management capacity including all aspects of process development and execution
• Proven experience in strategic planning and risk management
• HVAC Journeyman, E02 and EPA Universal preferred
• Clean driving and criminal records as required by state laws for mechanical contracting companies and by company insurance carrier(s)
