About this role
We are partnering with an innovative organization to identify a Product Manager who will play a central role in building next-generation learning and assessment products. This role is designed for someone who enjoys working deeply inside the product, collaborating across disciplines, and translating learning science into scalable digital experiences.
This role is an internal product builder role focused on designing and delivering an AI-enabled learning and assessment platform. You will work closely with engineers, UX designers, assessment specialists, and learning scientists to build scalable, defensible digital learning and assessment experiences grounded in learning science and Evidence-Centered Design.
This is not a feature-tuning or backlog-only role. You will help define how skills are taught, practiced, and measured using modern digital assessment approaches, including task-based simulations, AI-supported creation, scoring, and feedback.
What You'll Do:
- Design and deliver end-to-end digital learning and assessment experiences, including simulations, scenario-based tasks, and interactive exercises
- Apply Evidence-Centered Design principles to ensure assessments are valid, reliable, and scalable
- Translate skill frameworks, construct models, and assessment intent into executable product requirements
- Partner closely with engineers, UX designers, and data teams to implement assessment logic, scoring models, and feedback loops
- Evaluate and challenge assessment concepts that do not meet learning science or measurement standards
- Define and maintain a common assessment framework that supports consistency while allowing justified variation
- Support pilot launches, learner testing, and iterative refinement based on data and observed behavior
- Contribute to backend and data model design to support interoperability, analytics, and long-term reuse
- Help evolve the platform from traditional item types toward richer, simulation-based assessment models
