Job Summary

VB/.NET Developer to support and enhance the Shoemaker GRD product configurator and quote creation/management system. The role is responsible for maintaining the existing application, troubleshooting issues, and implementing limited new features to improve system performance and user experience. The developer will also play a role in migrating the Shoemaker CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platform to Magento.

Front-End Development:

• Embed .NET styling into Magento CSS and HTML frameworks to align the aesthetic and functional aspects of both SM and RS websites.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility of the website's design and functionality.
• Seamlessly stitch together SM and RS websites using Fastly to ensure a cohesive user experience.
• Optimize website performance and loading times through Fastly's edge cloud platform.

API Development and Integration:

• Develop and maintain robust APIs to connect front-end interfaces with back-end data points.
• Create custom APIs for efficient, secure data transfer between the SM and RS websites.

Magento Back-End Development:

• Assist with the integration and connection of Magento back-end interfaces to various data points.
• Ensure smooth, efficient data retrieval and storage across the Magento platform.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with design and marketing teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers and IT staff to enhance website functionality and user experience.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and challenges to the development team and stakeholders.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Conduct thorough testing of all developed features across different devices and platforms.
