About The Role
As an ML Engineer / Data Scientist (m/w/d) at Deichmann SE, you will play a pivotal role within the Data & Analytics team, contributing to the development and deployment of customer-centric data models that drive strategic business decisions. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, building, and maintaining scalable data structures and machine learning features that underpin various applications such as customer lifetime value prediction, churn modeling, segmentation, and next-best-action recommendations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers and Platform Specialists, to ensure the robustness, consistency, and governance of all customer-related data assets. Your work will directly impact key areas such as omnichannel commerce, marketing, CRM, pricing strategies, procurement, and logistics, ultimately enhancing the customer experience and operational efficiency.
