About us

Restoration 1 of White Plains is a locally owned restoration company serving homeowners and businesses across Westchester County. We respond to water, fire, storm, and mold damage and handle projects from emergency mitigation through full reconstruction. We're IICRC certified, work directly with insurance carriers, and offer 24/7/365 emergency response.

This is our first hire. You'll be joining at the ground floor of a growing company, with a real path to a senior leadership role as we expand.

The role

As our Lead Technician, you'll run jobs in the field, be the face of the company to customers on some of their worst days, and help us build the processes and standards the rest of the team will follow.

What you'll do

• Respond to water, fire, smoke, and mold losses and assess the scope of damage
• Perform mitigation work: water extraction, structural drying, demolition, containment, and cleanup
• Set up, monitor, and document drying equipment and moisture readings
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters
• Keep thorough job documentation (photos, notes, moisture logs) to support insurance claims
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and job sites to a high standard of safety and professionalism
• Help train and guide future technicians as the team grows

What we're looking for
