Scale Software That Powers Autonomous Vehicles in Live Airport Environments
Roboxi builds autonomous robots that keep airports safer and more efficient by automating critical inspection tasks like foreign object detection and monitoring airport infrastructure.
Our robots are already deployed at Sola Airport, Schiphol and Florence, and will be in several other international locations in 2026. We are now scaling our technology from proof-of-concept to production-grade robotics platforms. To support this growth, we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer
Your first major challenge
In your first months at Roboxi, you will further enhance our software stack into scalable, production-ready architecture that supports multiple deployed robots and future platform growth.
You will report directly to the Head of Technology and play a key role in defining how software is built, deployed, and evolved at Roboxi.
What you'll do
Technical Leadership & Architecture
Lead the design and development of scalable software systems
Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical roadmap
Mentor engineers and improve development practices.
Software Development & Quality
Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews while continuously improving and refactoring existing systems
Define testing strategies and troubleshoot complex issues across the software stack.
Development Process & Tooling
Own the software development workflow, including tooling, backlog coordination and release management
Define and improve development processes and guidelines
Support deployment of applications into production environments
Collaboration & Delivery
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across robotics, electrical, and mechanical engineering
Lead agile development processes including sprint planning and stand-ups
Represent the software team in internal and external technical discussions
