Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain C++ software components for scientific and computational workloads.
- Integrate LLM-based tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, GPT-4) throughout the development lifecycle (code generation, review, documentation, debugging).
- Build and experiment with LLM-assisted pipelines for automating tasks and improving developer productivity.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to prototype LLM-integrated solutions.
- Contribute to testing, CI/CD workflows, and code documentation using AI tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years in software development.
- Languages: Working knowledge of C++ (reading, debugging, contributing) and basic Python (scripting, LLM APIs).
- AI/LLM Skills: Demonstrated experience using LLM-based tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) and familiarity with prompt engineering.
- Environment: Proficiency in Linux development environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building/integrating LLM-powered features (RAG pipelines, agents, tool-calling).
- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) or open-source models (LLaMA, Mistral).
- Understanding of modern C++ (17/20 idioms) and performance-oriented development.
- Exposure to scientific computing, numerical methods, or High-Performance Computing (HPC).
- Knowledge of parallel computing (multithreading, vectorization, OpenMP).
- Familiarity with build systems (CMake, Bazel) and container technologies (Docker).
