Role Description
As a Software Engineer Intern at GenPark, you will support the development of core platform features that power our Intelligent Brand Agents and User Agents. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Seattle, WA, with flexibility for part of the workweek to be completed from home. Day-to-day, you will collaborate with engineers to design, implement, and test backend services, APIs, and data-driven features. You will write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and help troubleshoot and debug issues in a modern cloud-based environment. You will also work closely with product and AI teams to prototype new features, refine system performance, and contribute to technical documentation and internal tools.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, preferably with at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go).
• Exposure to Back-End Web Development, such as building APIs, working with databases, or integrating services.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in practical projects.
