Junior Software Engineer

The Role

• Test all product aspects within the software development lifecycle through software delivery.

• Create and execute manual testing procedures to evaluate software performance.

• Collaborate with other engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.

• Communicate software deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Adhere to Agile processes and software testing best practices and standards.

• Utilize Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git for work management and team collaboration.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or a related field, or 4+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience in writing and/or developing test procedures.

• Knowledge of software design patterns and Agile Development methodologies.

• Experience with a version control system (e.g., Git) and an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira).

• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows, LINUX, etc.).

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
