ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for building and supporting payment and integration solutions used by Bayad's partners and internal platforms. This role focuses on developing foundational skills in backend development and working on API integrations, payment flows, and transaction processing systems.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python
• Assist in building and integrating APIs for payments, billers, and partner systems
• Support the development of transaction processing flows (e.g., payment requests, validation, status handling)
• Work with databases to store and retrieve transaction and user data
• Help troubleshoot issues related to failed or delayed transactions
• Participate in testing to ensure reliability and accuracy of financial data
• Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, and Senior Engineers to deliver features
• Follow secure coding practices, especially for handling sensitive financial data
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies including AWS cloud services
• Identifies and resolves brand performance challenges and opportunities in the region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer, Engineering and/or other related courses
