Junior Full Stack Developer

About this role

We know a lot of junior dev roles are just ticket-closers. This one isn't.

You'd be building on Yokly's own internal ERP — a real system, 31 data collections on Firebase, used every single day by 85+ people across the US and the Philippines. Not a sandbox project. Not legacy maintenance. Actual features, actually shipped, actually used.

We're looking for developers who build with AI, not despite it — Claude Code is a daily tool here, part of how a feature actually goes from spec to shipped, not a buzzword on a slide. If you're 1+ year into hands-on development and want to build fast without cutting corners, keep reading.

Your Role & Contract

• Contract type: Independent Contractor
• Full-time
• Shift: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Time (Graveyard) — aligns with 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST for the client

• Saturdays and Sundays Off

What you'll be doing:

• Building React frontend + Firebase backend features that ship into a system real teammates use daily.
• Configuring and deploying Firebase — Hosting, Firestore, Auth, Functions.
• Shipping automations and integrations, fixing bugs, improving performance.
• Building with Claude Code as a real daily tool — not an assist, a workflow.
• Shipping through GitHub, with real PR review — your code gets read, not just merged.

What we're looking for:

• 1+ year of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong React + Firebase fundamentals.
• Comfortable with automation and solid UX/UI instincts.
• Genuinely comfortable coding alongside AI tools.
