We are looking for a Junior Backend Software Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our cross-functional DevOps team. In this role, you will contribute to developing, testing, and maintaining reliable backend software supporting our connected vehicle and digital mobility solutions. You will work with technologies such as Java, AWS, microservices, CI/CD, and Kubernetes, while continuing to build your technical knowledge and understanding of our systems.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and other team members in an Agile environment. You will take responsibility for well-defined tasks and gradually build greater confidence and independence in your technical work.

#### Here’s what you’ll focus on

• Develop, test, and maintain software components according to requirements, coding standards, and established engineering practices.
• Implement well-defined features, improvements, and bug fixes with guidance from experienced engineers when needed.
• Write unit tests using **JUnit** and apply basic **Test-Driven Development (TDD)** principles.
• Follow established quality, security, coding, and development practices.
• Participate actively in **code reviews, planning, retrospectives, and other Agile team ceremonies**.
• Use **Git** effectively in a collaborative, team-based development environment.
• Contribute to backend services running on **AWS** and develop your understanding of cloud-based solutions.
• Work with **microservices-based architectures** and build an understanding of service interactions and APIs.
