Junior Backend Developer

A Day in the Life
As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that power our fintech products. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to design APIs, integrate third-party services, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver reliable solutions that enhance the customer experience.


Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.


Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


Integrate with third-party systems, payment gateways, and external APIs.


Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.


Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.


Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.


Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives


Basic Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


1+ years of experience in backend development.


Hands-on experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Web APIs, and Entity Framework.


Strong understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.


Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and API security.


Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.


Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Good communication and collaboration abilities.
