About this role

Parallels has an immediate vacancy for this role.

We are looking for a hands-on In-Product Growth Marketing Specialist to own the execution of promotional in-product campaigns and support broader trial and product growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, enjoys working with data, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly when things change.

The top creative and technical minds could work anywhere. So why are so many of them choosing Parallels? Here are three reasons:

1. This is the moment. It’s an exciting time at Parallels, with strong leadership, a refreshed brand, and a whole new approach to changing the way the world works. We’re at the forefront of a movement, and we want you to ride this wave with us.
2. We want you to be you. Too often, companies tell you about their culture and then expect you to fit it. Our culture is built from the people who work here. We want you to feel safe to be who you are, take risks, and show us what you’ve got.
3. It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Parallels, we’re serious about empowering people to work when, how, and where they want. Couch? Sweatpants? Cool with us. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way.

Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the In-Product Growth Marketing Specialist role and see if we’re destined to be together.

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

The product is one of the most context-rich places to help a customer understand value. Unlike a generic campaign, an in-product experience can respond to what a customer has actually done, what they are trying to accomplish, and what they may need next.

That makes in-product marketing a critical lever across the customer lifecycle - from helping a trial user activate, to explaining a relevant feature, to surfacing an upgrade, to reinforcing value before renewal.

The opportunity is not to add more messages inside the product. It is to build a disciplined system of high-value interventions that make the product easier to understand, reduce friction, and improve progression toward meaningful customer and business outcomes.

This role exists to create that system through behavioral insight, strong messaging, thoughtful experience design, and rigorous experimentation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Own the end-to-end execution of promotional in-product campaigns, including planning, configuration, QA, launch, monitoring, and optimization.
* Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Creative, Engineering, and other teams to manage requirements, approvals, timelines, dependencies, and changes.
* Own and execute trial growth initiatives, experiments, and A/B tests focused on onboarding, activation, engagement, and trial-to-paid conversion.
* Use customer behavior, lifecycle stage, product usage, and other signals to improve targeting, messaging, and personalization.
* Analyze campaign, experiment, cohort, and customer journey performance to identify drop-offs, growth opportunities, performance issues, and root causes.
* Turn insights into clear recommendations, optimizations, follow-up tests, and decisions on what to scale, improve, or stop.
* Manage multiple initiatives in Jira, prioritizing work and clearly communicating status, risks, changes, and next steps.
* Capture key learnings and contribute to the ongoing development of the in-product growth and experimentation playbook.

WHAT YOU BRING

* 2–4 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, digital product marketing, ecommerce, lifecycle marketing, marketing operations, or a related field.
* Experience executing digital campaigns, experiments, or growth initiatives from planning through launch, analysis, and optimization.
* A clear sense of ownership and the ability to independently move projects forward from start to finish.
* Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate performance, identify trends and issues, investigate root causes, and turn data into actionable insights.
* Good understanding of how customers move through acquisition, activation, conversion, and post-purchase stages, and how to identify opportunities or friction across that journey.
* Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to keep teams aligned on priorities, timelines, changes, results, and next steps.
* Solid project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and changing priorities.
* High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to campaign setup and QA.
* Comfortable working with data and reporting tools such as GA4, Looker, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
* Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, project management, and marketing technology platforms such as Jira, Optimizely, Iterable, or similar tools.
* Basic understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, experimentation, and conversion optimization.
* A proactive, resourceful, and adaptable mindset with reliable follow-through and a willingness to find solutions when the path is not fully defined.
