Overview:
The HR Operations and Compliance Manager will oversee payroll processing, taxes, and compliance with labor laws. Develop, implement, and improve HR policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations and Engagement:

• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention, such as employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.

2. HR Policy Development and Compliance:

• Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• **knowledgeable on all taxes, how to set up new states, and payroll compliant is a must.**

• **Union experience is preferred.**
• Stay updated on changes to employment laws and regulations and ensure that HR policies and practices are up-to-date and aligned with best practices.

3. Training and Development:

• Identify training and development needs within the organization and design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and career development opportunities.
