Description:

NexGen Data Systems is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer. The primary responsibility of the Full Stack Developer is to produce scalable web applications. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full web applications life cycle, from conception to deployment as well as working to upgrade current applications. This position will support both internal and external customers in the DHA network. The Full Stack Developer will assist with developing and maintaining web applications to meet customer needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Developing new web applications using scripting and object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar.
  • Building, maintaining, testing, and debugging modern technology stacks that include Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5 devices.
  • Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Upgrade features to current applications to enhance the product and user experience.
  • Maintain web applications after deployment.

Requirements:

Desired/Required Skills:

  • Active Department of Defense Secret level security clearance required.
  • DoD Approved 8570 / 8140 OS and Cybersecurity certifications required.
  • 6-9 years relevant experience with scripting and object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar.
  • Familiarity with the most common SQL variations (preferably SQL Server and Postgres).
  • Working knowledge of modern JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Familiarity with GitLab or other Git based platforms as well as Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Familiarity with the most common Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, ...
