We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Regional FP&A team in Toronto, Vancouver, or Los Angeles offices to support our operations in the Americas region which include 18 offices across North and South America. This position will report to the Regional FP&A leader and interact directly with CFO and finance staff throughout the region!
The Opportunity
- Partnering with the operations teams to prepare the annual budget and ensure that the accurate reporting tools exist to help the operations deliver upon their financial and strategic goals.
- Providing insightful analysis for the region, including monthly actual to budget reviews, variance analysis and preparation of forecasts.
- Assisting with preparation of the company’s management board reports.
- Providing analytical support and other financial analyses to business leaders.
- Analyzing and interpreting trends, costs, revenues and financial commitments to predict future revenues and expenses.
- Working closely with business service teams (Marketing, HR, IT, Legal) to provide relevant financial data and analytics.
- Preparing overheads reporting, analyzing results, and carrying out actions such as time and expense transfers as well as working closely with shared services.
- Participate in ongoing finance transformation initiatives such as Contribution Margin and Fusion/FST.
- Supporting the monthly close process.
- Various ad hoc reporting and projects.
Is this role right for you?
- At least 3 years of FP&A experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting; MBA/CPA Preferred.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to develop and maintain sophisticated financial models.
