# Organizational Position:
Lead Engineer - Project Management will report functionally to Manager Motion control, at Emerson Innovation Center- Pune.
# In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, resource allocation, cost estimates, and risk plans.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure alignment with all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress using Emerson project management frameworks and tools.
- Ensure adherence to Emerson’s project execution processes and quality standards.
- Serve as the single point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage communication with internal teams like Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Service.
- Conduct regular project reviews, status updates, and customer presentations.
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
- Coordinate with procurement for vendor and subcontractor management.
- Identify potential project risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead root-cause analysis for issues and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain risk registers and ensure escalation as required.
- Cross-functional coordination across engineering, quality, procurement, & production
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
