Data Engineer

About this role

We are seeking a fully remote Data Engineer with expertise in SQL and Python to develop and maintain data pipelines for a self-service data platform.

• Responsibilities include: building reliable ETL/ELT processes, optimizing SQL queries, supporting data modeling within Snowflake, integrating Kafka event streams, and implementing logging, monitoring, and incident management.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure pipeline reliability, contribute to CI/CD workflows, and utilize AI tools to enhance development speed and quality.
• Qualifications: minimum of 2 years’ experience in data engineering or software development, proficiency in SQL, familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), version control, and CI/CD practices.
• Preferred skills include: Python for pipelines, Snowflake expertise, testing, Kafka, containerization, infrastructure-as-code, and AI development tools.
• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
