Position Description:
The CS Software Engineer supports the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions used in E80’s automated material handling and logistics systems. The role contributes to aftersales activities such as software services, system upgrades, and customer support within an industrial automation environment. The engineer is involved across the software lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of software solutions operating in live customer environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C#, SQL, and related technologies.
- Support software implementation, testing, and deployment for industrial automation systems.
- Modify, customize, and enhance existing software solutions running in active customer operations.
- Troubleshoot software issues and implement fixes or performance improvements.
- Collaborate with internal software and customer service functions to analyze requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to software simulations, testing activities, and system validation.
- Support the development and release of new software features, modules, or applications.
- Ensure software solutions meet safety, reliability, and performance requirements.
- Participate in customer meetings and on-site activities related to software support, upgrades, and optimization.
