NOTE: This is a limited duration contract position expected to last through all of 2026. Work may be performed remotely within the contiguous United States with travel as required for business needs.
POSITION SUMMARY: The NuScale Enterprise Software Team provides expertise in the development and implementation of regulatory compliant plans and procedures to support engineering groups at NuScale. This position will be a limited engagement staff augmentation intended to perform a comprehensive update of the software plans, procedures and work instructions required for design and analysis engineering, code development, procurement, and document control under an NQA-1 quality framework. The work will involve updating all relevant procedures for simultaneous NQA-1 2008/2009a and 2022 compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the adequacy and efficiency evaluation of existing software programmatic infrastructure against NQA-1 2008/2009a and 2022 quality frameworks
- Prepares plans, procedures and desktop instructions for software in compliance with NQA-1 and applicable IEEE standards.
- Provide guidance to other departments in meeting applicable software regulations, as needed
- Performs other duties are assigned.
