MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior VMWare Cloud Engineer to join our CASTLE-NET Program team. *This is a remote position*.

Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation’s toughest challenges.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based computing solutions and infrastructure for CASTLE-NET projects
• Ensuring high availability, reliability, optimized performance, and robust security of cloud-based applications.
• Focuses on vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and vRealize Suite to manage virtualized environments.
• Managing VMware Cloud Foundation, Private Cloud to Public Cloud migration, and hybrid cloud networking (HCX).
• Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and IT leadership for seamless integration and alignment with objectives.
• Deliver world-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support.
• Exceed the expectations of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 IT end-users.
• Deliver vital solutions and strengthen the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field and 8 or more years of cloud engineering experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree +2 years relevant experience, or 4 years relevant experience is acceptable.
• Possesses excellent understanding of cloud infrastructure components, scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
