Role Overview
We are seeking a junior-level Software Engineer to join the Claims & Money Movement portfolio within the Service Experience.
Candidates with experience in Java, web technologies, workflow platforms (Pega, Salesforce, or similar), or cloud technologies such as AWS are encouraged to apply.
The engineer will participate in the design, development, and delivery of technical solutions within an Agile team. They will work closely with senior engineers and architects, contribute to sprint execution, and develop hands-on technical skills across modern enterprise platforms.
This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering career who wants to grow into a Technical Lead and deepen their expertise in workflow platforms, cloud technologies, integrations, and enterprise engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Development
- Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot applications using Java, web technologies, workflow/BPM platforms (Salesforce, Pega, ServiceNow, Appian, or similar), or AWS cloud components.
- Contribute to coding, debugging, unit testing, and participating in code reviews.
- Implement integrations, REST APIs, automation components, and user interface features.
- Assist with performance tuning, monitoring, and system reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to translate designs into working code.
Platform & Systems Support
- Participate in CI/CD build pipelines, version control, and DevOps practices.
- Support environment readiness checks, deployment preparations, and testing cycles.
