Position Overview
We are seeking an Accountant / Tax Preparer with strong experience in reviewing client financials and preparing accurate, timely tax returns. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, client service, and working in a collaborative, professional environment. Both part-time and full-time arrangements will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Review client financial statements and supporting documentation for tax preparation
• Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• Identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized and accurate workpapers and documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and financial statement review
• Strong understanding of U.S. tax laws and regulations
• Experience with a variety of entity types (individual, partnership, corporate)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• CPA or EA designation preferred but not required
