Rate of Pay: $82,763.00 per year

Job Description:

1. Financial Reporting and Ledger Management (35%)

• Prepare, analyze, and assemble comprehensive financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements to reflect the company’s financial standing.
• Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger and subsidiary accounts; manage the Chart of Accounts and perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure internal record integrity.

2. Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Forecasting (25%)

• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify operational trends, cost overruns, and variances.
• Assist management in strategic planning by developing annual budgets and performing financial forecasting to predict future business performance and profitability.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis of goods and services to optimize company resources.

3. Regulatory Compliance and Taxation (20%)

• Ensure all accounting procedures and financial reports strictly comply with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Prepare and file necessary corporate tax returns (e.g., sales tax, franchise tax) to meet state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and verify the accuracy of financial records.

4. Operational Accounting and Internal Controls (20%)

• Oversee the full cycle of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Process company payroll and ensure accurate remittance of payroll taxes and compliance with labor laws.
• Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent financial errors or fraud.

Requires Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Accounting, or a closely related field.
