The Account Executive is a part of Cleo’s first-class Sales Team and becomes a product knowledge expert while focusing on selling directly to new and current clients, building pipelines, and identifying key client needs to drive sales growth. You’ll leverage AI-powered sales tools and ecosystem insights to prioritize your pipeline, personalize outreach, and close deals faster. We are looking for candidates eager to drive their business, set ambitious goals, and speak fluently about how AI and automation are reshaping supply chain and B2B integration. What You Will Be Doing

  • Educate and advise clients to build strong, trustworthy relationships with Cleo customers
  • Execute a successful sales process from lead to appointment to close
  • Obtain feedback from clients and adjust messaging to improve downstream execution
  • Meet clients to discuss their needs and complete the execution of the sale
  • Work with SDRs and Account Managers to devise a program that meets client needs and budget
  • Negotiate with clients, solve problems, and make sure deadlines are met
  • Check and report on client Cleo program progress
  • Use AI-driven analytics and intent data to identify high-propensity accounts and prioritize outreach efforts
  • Leverage Cleo’s AI-powered platform insights to tailor solution narratives that resonate with each prospect’s specific supply chain and integration challenges
  • Collaborate with internal teams to surface AI-generated signals that help anticipate client needs and accelerate deal progression

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prior experience in an SDR, BDR, or inside sales role
  • Must have EDI experience in the B2B SaaS industry
  • Must be willing to travel 30–40% on average
  • Display a strong interest in outside sales
  • Communicate confidently in person, over the phone, and online
