Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) Janitorial Project Manager to lead and oversee janitorial and custodial operations in a warehouse/distribution center setting. This role involves managing cleaning teams, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and special projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive janitorial experience, training and development of staff, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily janitorial and custodial operations at multiple sites, delegating tasks, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Recruit, hire, assimilate and train new hires
- Coordinate cleaning schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to optimize efficiency.
- Manage disciplinary actions up to termination of employment
- Conduct site inspections to verify cleanliness levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage supplies inventory, order necessary materials, and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Communicate with clients in Spanish and English to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Oversee floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Train team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and proper equipment handling.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, supplies used, and employee hours for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with facilities maintenance teams to coordinate repairs or additional services as needed.
